๐ DVD Emoji
A digital versatile disc (DVD), a type of optical disc used to play movies before the rise of streaming technology. Generally depicted in gold, though Facebook’s is bluish gray, as a Blu-ray.
Commonly used to represent CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and related film and music content, especially albums.
Google, Microsoft, Samsung, and Softbank’s designs were once labelled DVD, as to distinguish it from ๐ฟ Optical Disk.
